Do you feel lost and unsure about who you are?  Are you finding that you have lots of unanswered questions yet you don’t know exactly what those questions are?  Do you feel like your mind if full of ‘stuff’ and you just feel out of sorts?  Do you feel like you’re not as close with your friends, family, or partner? Are you wondering what it all means? 

Sometimes we know what we want to talk to a therapist about and sometimes it evolves as part of the process of talking.  Whether you know or you’re not entirely sure, I am here to listen, not judge and help you find your answers.

My Background

Many of the people I work with talk about a wide range of issues.  I come from the stance that we are complex people who are affected differently by our life experiences.  With this in mind here are some examples of areas I work with:

  • trauma
  • grief and loss
  • betrayal
  • job loss
  • neurodiversity with a personal interest in ADHD
  • relationship issues

I am optimistic and hopeful, and I fundamentally believe that you hold within you the power to find positive growth.  Together we will work to find your answer.  I am here to listen with compassion and tenderness to your story and to support you in this journey.

I am not here to tell you what to think, what to say, how to feel or to fix you.  I do not assume that your experiences are like mine or anyone elses.  You are unique and your experiences are unique too.  My role is create a safe and confidential space and be along side you so you can:

    • look within yourself and begin to delve into the issues that bring you to therapy
    • learn to find the true you
    • make sense of your life

You have within you the answers and the solutions to all of this; I am here to help you find them at your pace.

My Approach & Philosophy

I describe myself as a Person-Centred psychotherapist having studied the work of Carl Rogers.  I trust you to know what you want to talk about and that you will know when you are ready to bring it to our sessions.  I am open to hear what you want to share.
