23 March 2021 marks one year since the first lockdown.  Marie Curie invites everyone in the UK to a National Day of Reflection so that we can pause and reflect on ‘our collective loss, support those who’ve been bereaved, and hope for a brighter future’.

This is how to get involved:  join a 1 minute’s silence at noon; shine a light at 8pm; contact friends and family.

Everyone has been affected by Covid the lockdown. There has been much loss: loss of lives, loss of livelihoods, loss of freedoms, loss of time, loss of being able to mourn in the usual ways, and the loss of being together to help one another.

Let’s join together in solidarity for each other on National Day of Reflection.
